Albion in the Community - Forward Programme
The Forward Programme offers one-to-one bespoke support to help individuals to overcome whatever barriers are stopping or restricting them from moving on into employment, education / training or possibly job searching. The support offered is entirely dependent upon the particular needs of the individual, and what they would like to achieve by the end of their time on the programme.
Support can include any or all of the following:
Developing or improving employability skills such as, CV and cover letter writing, mock interviews and interviewing techniques
Confidence and self-esteem building through courses or workshops
Gaining voluntary experience in an area of interest that you would like to explore or gain work experience
Exploring your current skillset and identifying courses that could help you improve your chances of securing employment
Support with basic needs such as accessing foodbanks, claiming benefits or help in directing to other better placed organisations, etc.
The eligibility criteria for the programme are:
That they are unemployed or economically in active (which means either unable to, or not currently ready to look for work.
That they have been either unemployed or economically inactive for in excess of 12 months
That they are 19+
That they have the desire to make changes and move forward with their life.
