The Agency for Adoption & Permanency Support (PAC-UK)
PAC-UK (formerly Post-Adoption Centre) provides advice, support and information to anyone affected by the challenges and opportunities of adoption, including adoptive parents and other permanent carers, adopted adults and birth relatives, and the professionals who support them.
The Advice Line is staffed by qualified and experienced counsellors. (Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10am – 4pm, Wednesdays and Thursday 2pm to 7.30pm.
PAC provides face to face counselling, family therapeutic work, support around contact and mediation between adoptive and birth families, workshops, groups and seminars for all parties to adoption and professional consultation and training.
PAC has particular expertise of working with Black and Minority Ethnic families and with transracially adopted people.
