Art-K Hove
art-K provides children with a rounded art education in drawing, painting and 3D modelling. Students will have the opportunity to work with various mediums, including acrylics, watercolours, inks, pastels, and clay. art-K offers weekly art classes and holiday art workshops.
Classes are led by teachers, who receive in-depth training in teaching, as well as health and safety, and safe-guarding. art-K Hove is run by Richard, the branch leader, and Helen, the part time teacher.
Our art class environment is encouraging, inclusive and non-competitive. This allows every student to go at their own pace, developing their unique skill set. Our curriculum grows with each student as their skills develop, and they move through the art-K programme. Over time, our students grow significantly in confidence, expression, and creativity. This confidence can change their perception of themselves, as well as the perception others have of them.
art-K classes and workshops are suitable for those aged 6-16 years old.

- We are open for term time classes for 39 weeks per year. We run workshops during school holidays for a maximum of 14 weeks per year.
Our weekly term time classes are not suitable for flexible childcare, as one-off sessions cannot be booked.
Our holiday workshops can offer flexible childcare, as they can be booked for one-off half-day and full-day sessions.

- Headphones and sensory objects/fidget toys are available at the studio for students who require them. Art-K is flexible in its teaching methods; as long as we are able to communicate with a student (we can be creative how to communicate) and they enjoy learning art skills, then we welcome them to the classes.
